Product Description

PVT-E Hybrid Photovoltaic Thermal Collector

The PVT-E Hybrid Photovoltaic Thermal Collector is an integrated solar module that combines photovoltaic power generation and thermal collection. It is developed for applications where both electricity and usable heat are required from a solar installation.

Instead of using separate photovoltaic panels and solar thermal collectors, PVT-E integrates both functions into one module. This allows solar resources to be utilized more comprehensively while making better use of available installation space.

Integrated PV and Thermal Energy

During photovoltaic operation, solar cells convert part of the solar energy into electricity while generating additional heat. PVT-E captures this heat through its thermal collection structure and transfers it for further use.

The result is a dual-output solar module capable of supplying:

Electricity + Thermal Energy

The system achieves a comprehensive solar utilization rate of up to 60%, with thermal energy output reaching approximately 2 times the electrical output.

This makes PVT-E particularly suitable for projects with simultaneous electricity and hot water or heating requirements.

Efficient Heat Transfer Inside the Module

A key part of the PVT-E design is the connection between its photovoltaic and thermal components. Vacuum bonding technology helps reduce thermal resistance and improve heat transfer efficiency.

The thermal section incorporates a high-purity aluminum heat transfer plate and optimized internal channels to distribute heat more evenly.

This structure provides:

  1. More effective heat recovery

  2. Improved thermal utilization by over 40%

  3. Stable thermal performance

  4. Temperature uniformity of approximately ±1°C

Managing PV Module Temperature

The thermal collection system also plays an important role in controlling photovoltaic module temperature.

PVT-E incorporates high-precision temperature sensors and an intelligent temperature management system to monitor operating conditions. The system helps control temperature fluctuations and prevent PV hot spots, supporting stable electrical output and long-term component performance.

Thermal energy can therefore be recovered while helping maintain a more suitable operating temperature for the photovoltaic section.

Reliable Photovoltaic Performance

The photovoltaic side uses N-type TOPCon monocrystalline solar cells with multi-busbar technology.

This configuration provides high photovoltaic conversion efficiency, a low temperature coefficient and stable power generation across different climate conditions.

The combination of efficient PV cells and thermal recovery makes PVT-E more than a conventional solar panel—it functions as an integrated electrical and thermal energy collector.

Built for Outdoor Installation

PVT-E is constructed for long-term outdoor applications. The module uses an anodized 6063-T5 aluminum alloy frame with tensile strength up to 180 MPa.

A weather-resistant sealant and IP65 waterproof protection help protect the internal components from outdoor exposure, including rain and sand.
