PVT-E Photovoltaic Thermal Collector
The PVT-E Photovoltaic Thermal Collector combines solar electricity generation and thermal energy collection in a single module. By recovering heat generated during photovoltaic operation, it makes better use of the available solar energy and provides both electrical and thermal output from the same installation area.
Designed for low-carbon buildings, hot water systems, commercial heating and renewable energy projects, PVT-E offers an integrated approach to solar energy utilization.
One Solar Module, Two Energy Outputs
Traditional PV panels primarily convert sunlight into electricity, while excess heat is normally lost. The PVT-E collector recovers this heat and turns it into usable thermal energy.
This combined design enables the module to produce:
-
Solar electricity
-
Recovered thermal energy
-
Hot water and heating energy for suitable systems
With a solar comprehensive utilization rate of up to 60%, thermal energy output can reach approximately 2 times the electrical output, helping maximize the value of each installed solar module.
Improved Heat Recovery from PV Modules
PVT-E uses vacuum bonding technology to improve heat transfer between the photovoltaic and thermal components. By reducing thermal resistance, heat can be transferred more effectively from the PV cells to the thermal collection system.
The optimized structure helps achieve:
-
Faster heat transfer
-
More effective heat recovery
-
Stable thermal performance
-
Improved overall system efficiency
Keeping PV Performance Stable
Temperature management is an important part of PVT operation. The PVT-E system incorporates intelligent temperature control to help manage module temperature and reduce the risk of PV hot spots.
High-precision sensors monitor operating conditions and support temperature regulation, helping maintain stable electrical and thermal output while supporting long-term component performance.
N-Type TOPCon Solar Cell Technology
The photovoltaic side uses N-type TOPCon monocrystalline solar cells combined with multi-busbar technology.
This configuration provides high photovoltaic conversion efficiency, a low temperature coefficient and stable power generation under different climate conditions.
At the same time, the thermal side uses a high-purity aluminum heat transfer plate with optimized internal channels. Temperature uniformity can be maintained at approximately ±1°C, supporting consistent heat collection across the module.
Designed for Outdoor Solar Applications
PVT-E is built for long-term outdoor installation. Its structure incorporates an anodized 6063-T5 aluminum alloy frame, weather-resistant sealant and IP65 waterproof protection.
The robust construction helps protect the module against rain, sand and other outdoor environmental conditions.
Suitable for Integrated Solar Energy Systems
The PVT-E Photovoltaic Thermal Collector can be incorporated into renewable energy systems where both electricity and thermal energy are required.
Typical applications include:
-
Low-carbon and energy-efficient buildings
-
Domestic hot water systems
-
Commercial hot water projects
-
Solar heating systems
-
Building energy systems
-
Renewable energy projects
PVT-E provides a practical way to combine solar power generation and thermal energy collection within one integrated solar module.
