T/PV Pro PVT Hybrid Solar Panel
The T/PV Pro PVT Hybrid Solar Panel combines photovoltaic electricity generation with solar thermal collection in a single module. By recovering heat from the back of the PV panel, it transforms one solar installation into a dual-energy system for producing both electrical power and useful heat.
Compared with conventional PV-only systems, the T/PV Pro makes greater use of the available solar radiation and provides additional thermal energy for heating applications.
Turn Solar Heat into Usable Energy
During photovoltaic operation, part of the absorbed solar radiation is converted into heat. Instead of allowing this heat to dissipate, the T/PV Pro transfers it through the integrated thermal collector.
This creates two useful energy outputs from the same panel:
Solar Energy → PV Electricity + Thermal Energy
The module provides:
-
500W electrical output
-
Up to 1380W peak thermal output
-
More than 60% thermal efficiency
-
More than 80% comprehensive efficiency
-
Up to 88% instantaneous combined efficiency
The result is higher overall energy utilization without requiring a separate solar thermal collector.
Thermal Recovery from the PV Module
The integrated thermal collector works behind the photovoltaic layer to capture excess heat generated during operation.
Recovered thermal energy can be supplied to different heating systems, including:
-
Domestic hot water systems
-
Space heating
-
Heat pump systems
-
Greenhouse heating
-
Agricultural applications
-
Commercial hot water systems
At the same time, extracting heat from the PV module helps manage its operating temperature, supporting stable solar power generation.
More Energy from Limited Space
The T/PV Pro is especially useful where installation area is limited but both electricity and heat are required.
Instead of allocating space for separate photovoltaic panels and solar thermal collectors, one PVT module performs both functions. This can help simplify the overall solar installation and increase useful energy output per unit of available area.
It can be integrated into new renewable energy systems or combined with existing heating and hot-water equipment.
Built for Demanding Outdoor Conditions
Solar modules are exposed to sunlight, humidity, salt, temperature changes, and other environmental stresses. The T/PV Pro uses a multi-layer protection structure designed for long-term outdoor operation.
Key protection features include:
-
99.99% inert gas protection
-
Three-layer encapsulation
-
PID resistance testing
-
Salt spray resistance testing
-
Ammonia resistance testing
This construction supports reliable operation across a variety of residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial environments.
Versatile PVT Applications
The T/PV Pro can be configured for projects where electrical and thermal energy are both valuable.
Homes & Residential Buildings
Generate solar electricity while providing energy for domestic hot water and heating.
Greenhouses & Farms
Combine renewable electricity with thermal energy for agricultural heating requirements.
Schools & Commercial Facilities
Support building power demand together with hot-water and heating applications.
Industrial Projects
Recover solar thermal energy for suitable industrial or process heating systems.
Remote & Off-Grid Sites
Provide combined power and heat for mining areas, oil fields, remote stations, and other locations with limited energy infrastructure.
