T/PV T Type PVT Solar Hybrid Module
The T/PV T Type PVT Solar Hybrid Module combines solar photovoltaic and thermal technologies into a single energy-producing module. It generates electricity and collects usable solar heat at the same time, helping maximize the energy output from limited installation space.
Designed for residential, commercial, and renewable energy applications, the module can provide thermal energy for hot water, pool heating, building heating, and heat pump systems.
Generate Electricity and Heat Together
A conventional PV panel mainly converts sunlight into electricity. The PVT module goes a step further by recovering thermal energy from the back of the photovoltaic panel.
This allows the same solar surface to deliver:
-
Electrical power
-
Usable thermal energy
-
Higher overall solar utilization
-
Better use of available installation space
Under specified conditions, the system achieves up to 80% comprehensive solar utilization.
Integrated PV and Thermal Design
The photovoltaic module and thermal collector are closely integrated using vacuum bonding technology.
This structure helps reduce thermal resistance and improves the transfer of heat from the PV module to the thermal collection system, with heat transfer efficiency improved by more than 40%.
The collected heat can then be directed to an appropriate water heating or building energy system.
Thermal Insulation for Better Heat Retention
To reduce unnecessary heat loss, the module incorporates a multi-layer insulation structure.
A high-transparency cover, high-density insulation material, and long-wave reflective film work together to retain thermal energy and support stable heat output.
This design makes the module suitable for applications where continuous thermal energy collection is required.
Efficient Solar Cell Technology
The T/PV T Type uses N-Type TOPCon solar cells for efficient photovoltaic generation.
The thermal collection layer also helps manage the operating temperature of the PV module, with the PV operating temperature controlled below 55°C under specified conditions.
Intelligent Temperature Monitoring
Temperature sensors provide real-time thermal system monitoring and can work with compatible intelligent control systems.
The module can be integrated into broader energy systems to coordinate solar heat collection with heat pumps, domestic hot water systems, and building heating applications.
Built for Outdoor Solar Applications
The module is constructed with durable materials selected for long-term outdoor operation:
-
High-purity aluminum heat transfer plate
-
6063-T5 aluminum alloy frame
-
Weather-resistant sealant
-
IP65 protection
-
N-Type TOPCon solar cells
The robust construction makes it suitable for rooftop and other outdoor renewable energy installations.
Wide Range of Applications
The PVT hybrid module can be used for:
Domestic Hot Water · Commercial Hot Water · Swimming Pool Heating · Heat Pump Systems · Residential Heating · Commercial Building Heating · Low-Carbon Buildings
A Smarter Use of Solar Space
By combining PV electricity and solar thermal collection, the T/PV T Type PVT Solar Hybrid Module can increase the energy value generated from the same installation area.
It is a practical choice for projects seeking to combine solar power generation and thermal energy utilization in one integrated system.
OEM/ODM customization and project supply are available for solar distributors, system integrators, contractors, and renewable energy projects.
