Case 22: Sog County People’s Hospital & Tibetan Hospital Heating Projects
Project Objective: Large-scale public healthcare facility heating.
Area: People's Hospital approx. 20,000 m²; Tibetan Hospital approx. 32,000 m².
Climate Conditions: Plateau subarctic semi-arid climate, perpetually winter-like with no summer; oxygen levels only 50%–58% of sea level; frequent strong winds, diurnal temperature swings of 18–22°C, no frost-free period.
Design Parameters: Outdoor heating design temperature: -17°C; extended heating season: mid-October to mid-May (approx. 210 days).
Solution: Engineered according to severe plateau conditions: 16 units of 60HP Air Source Heat Pumps for the People’s Hospital, and 27 units of 60HP Air Source Heat Pumps for the Tibetan Hospital as the primary heat sources.
