Case 33: Kangma County Shankee Hotel Project
Project Objective: Commercial integrated HVAC system solving both hotel space heating and domestic hot water demands simultaneously.
Building Area: 1,200 m2
Climate Conditions: High-altitude, severe cold region in Kangmar County with low winter temperatures; requires 7×24 hour continuous commercial operation under fluctuating thermal loads.
Project Requirements: Guest room space heating during winter alongside all-day, uninterrupted domestic hot water supply for the entire hotel to ensure stable business operations.
Solution & Performance:
Heating Section: Configured with a 60HP ultra-low temperature heating heat pump with a water underfloor heating terminal system for guest room warmth.
Hot Water Section: Configured with a 10HP air source water heater + a 6-ton insulated hot water storage tank to deliver all domestic hot water.
Both systems run independently while being uniformly tied into a smart control system.
Guest rooms maintain a stable 18℃ to 22℃ heating environment while hot water is reliably produced around the clock for bathing and washing. The robust equipment withstands harsh plateau cold for extended continuous runtime, operates with zero open flames (superior safety over boilers), and lowers overall operating costs for commercial hospitality.
