Solar + Air Source Heat Pump Hybrid Project
Case 29: Solar + Air Source Heat Pump Hybrid Project
Solution & Performance
Core Equipment: Integrated system combining solar thermal collectors + plate heat exchangers + a 10HP ultra-low temperature air source heat pump.
Operation Logic: On sunny days, solar thermal energy takes precedence via plate heat exchangers to drive the underfloor heating. On overcast, rainy, or nighttime periods, the system automatically engages the heat pump as a secondary backup heat source.
Performance & Effects: Underfloor heating supply at 45–55℃ keeps indoor temperatures stable at 20–22℃ alongside a 150L buffer tank for heat storage. This smart automatic switching maximizes free solar clean energy, sharply curtails heat pump runtime, lowers overall energy consumption by over 40%, and exemplifies low-carbon eco-friendly heating development in plateau zones.
